Craniosacral Therapy restores and balances the Nervous System while releasing the effects of stress, injury and trauma. This has a profound effect on the healing process. Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle hands-on treatment for the whole body. Performed on a massage table, the client is fully clothed and the touch is light and still. The treatment is focused on supporting the health of the whole being, especially the Nervous System. This supports greater ease and helps the body decrease symptoms. The therapy creates a safe space for traumatic experiences to emerge and resolve smoothly without being overwhelming or re-stimulating.

Craniosacral for babies

There are many benefits of Craniosacral Therapy for babies. In a complicated birth, a baby can face a number of stressful challenges. A birth can be traumatic for the new born without being traumatic for the mother. Evidence suggest that most newborn babies hold some birth stress after being born. Problems can occur when cranial bones get compressed and then stay out of shape. Misalignment can occur if there has been pressure within the spinal column disturbing the nerves which could leave baby feeling uncomfortable and unsettled. This could interfere with signals sent to the digestive system causing colicky symptoms.

Testimonial

My little one seemed very uncomfortable and had torticollis. She had 3 Craniosacral sessions with Caela and is now a completely different baby. She is comfortable and sleeps much better. She turns her head the other way as well. I can’t thank Caela enough. - Steph
